Biography/CV:

Pediatrician, specialist in pediatric oncology and hematology. Founder and president of the Polish Society of Medical Communication.
I run the Social Medicine Laboratory at the Faculty of Medicine of the Collegium Medicum of the Nicolaus Copernicus University. Poland’s representative at the International Research Center for Communication in Healthcare (IRCCH), initiator and organizer of the first conferences on medical communication in Poland. Member of the International Shared Decision Making Society and the International Association for Communication in Healthcare (EACH). Member od the Board of the Federation of Polish Medical Societies.
I am a doctor with experience in working in the Department of Paediatrics, Hematology and Oncology, Collegium Medicum UMK, Curie Institute in Paris, district hospitals and medical practice in a multicultural, international environment of the Pharmaciens Sans Frontières association. I am a member of the Medical Language Team of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the initiator and organizer of the first medical communication conferences in Poland.
