My areas of interest and expertise focuses on patient-clinician communication in obstetrics and reproductive health visits particularly regarding sensitive and commonly stigmatized topics such as intimate partner violence, substance use and mental health concerns. I have expertise in qualitative methods, observational studies, and mixed qualitative-quantitative methods. Recently our team has begun exploring audio-recorded conversations for potential racial bias.
