WHO Communication Webinar – Implementing a national training programme in Ireland

When

16 Oct 2024
2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

In the latest edition of its Effective communication in health care webinar series, WHO/Europe will be focusing on the Irish experience of implementing a new national communication training programme for health-care staff. The initiative, led by Winifred Ryan (Lead, National Healthcare Communication Programme, Health Service Executive, Ireland) and Eva Doherty (Associate Professor and Director of the Human Factors in Patient Safety training, research and assessment programme at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland), was developed in response to patient feedback from Ireland’s first-ever national patient experience survey.

Their insights promise to be both informative and inspiring, providing valuable lessons on enhancing communication in health-care settings.
