I have served as behavioral health faculty in a family medicine residency program in St. Paul MN for the past 26 years. My primary interests lie at the intersection of clinical care and teaching communication skills to physicians (primarily motivational interviewing and patient centered communication skills via live shadowing and video review). Additional areas of interest include weight neutral care approaches, chronic pain management and refugee/immigrant health/cross-cultural communication.
