MEDI-Com Forum is an event designed to draw attention to the role of healthcare communication and to some national and international good practice models of public health campaigns and patient-physician communication approaches. The upcoming event aims to contribute to the health campaigns efficacy and constitutes an opportunity for learning and networking among those involved in diseases prevention/ health information/change of health-related behaviors’ programs and campaigns.

The Forum is hosted by “Gr.T.Popa” University of Medicine and Pharmacy (Iasi, Romania) and brings together representatives of the most important institutions in the Romanian health system (Ministry of Health, The National College of Physicians, and The National Authority of Quality Management in Health, The National Agency of Medicines and Medical Devices of Romania). The event structure contains flash seminars on specific topics related to health communication (e.g. National Health Registries. Communication strategies), workshops (e.g. Crisis communication in health facilities. Simulation exercise), debates (e.g. Public communication to prevent the excessive consumption of antibiotics) and short courses on patient-physician communication for general practitioners and pediatricians.
