DSI: 12 competent behaviors (introduction, call resident's name, inform a task before providing care, instruct step-by-step, use simple and familiar words, gentle pace, speak slowly, continuous assistance, speak in a calm tone of voice, occasional eye contact, use gesture, give simple choices) & 15 incompetent behaviors (no introduction, not using resident's name, not informing, more than 1 instruction at a time, inappropriate words, hurried pace, speak fast, sporadic assistance, monotonous tone of voice/yelling, no eye contact, no gesture, no choice, unnecessary touch, argue/confront, talk negatively about residents among staff).

CSI: 8 competent behaviors (greeting, call name appropriately, korean speech style, i.e. polite, if needed, interrupt with notice, affectionate touch (back, shoulder, hand), occasional eye contact, face-to-face proximity around arm lenght, eye-level (look up, same level). & 9 incompetent behaviors (no greeting, no/inappropriate call of name, korean speach style, i.e. casual, interrupt without permission, affectionate touch head/face, no eye contact/stare, face-to-face proximity less or more than around arm lenght, eye-level look down, use of unfamilar language).
