Mapeo del panorama del desarrollo profesional continuo en la investigación en educación en comunicación

This presentation will include a guided tour through a mega map drawing on the evidence from 29 systematic reviews of continuing professional development.

Rooted in systematic review methodology, evidence gap maps or mega maps are a new research tool that illustrate available evidence in visual maps. The maps dynamic and interactive nature facilitate stakeholder involvement and tailoring of research questions of relevance to practice.

We have made a pilot mega map (available at  https://gapmap.danishdiabetesknowledgecenter.dk/cme/) and aim to:

• identify what we know and don’t know about communication education research
• tests the acceptability and feasibility by investigating the experience of target users of the map

Mette A. Nexoe
Mette A. Nexoe, is a senior researcher and manager of the research team at Department of Education at Steno Diabetes Center Copenhagen, Denmark. Trained as a clinical psychologist and with a PhD in public health and epidemiology her research has an interdisciplinary approach and embraces research areas such as continuing professional development, mental health, occupational health, psycho-social aspects of type 1 and type 2 diabetes, multi-morbidity and chronic illness
