  health care webinar series\, WHO/Europe will be focusing on the Irish exp
 erience of implementing a new national communication training programme fo
 r health-care staff. The initiative\, led by Winifred Ryan (Lead\, Nationa
 l Healthcare Communication Programme\, Health Service Executive\, Ireland)
  and Eva Doherty (Associate Professor and Director of the Human Factors in
  Patient Safety training\, research and assessment programme at the Royal 
 College of Surgeons in Ireland)\, was developed in response to patient fee
 dback from Ireland’s first-ever national patient experience survey.\n\n\
 n\n\n\nTheir insights promise to be both informative and inspiring\, provi
 ding valuable lessons on enhancing communication in health-care settings.T

 nEach webinar examines the critical role of effective communication in bui
 lding trust in health-care settings\, and the challenges health-care profe
 ssionals face in effectively communicating with each other and with their 
 patients.\n\nThe series also aims to inform future WHO guidance and recomm
 endations on establishing national communication skills training programme
 s in hospitals\, drawing on insights and lessons from programmes in variou
