DESCRIPTION:The EACH/ICA Partnership Working Group presents a panel on the 
 Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Two model experts will introduce the fr
 amework\, discuss extensions (UTAUT\,  UTAUT2) and applications of the fr
 amework and highlight future directions for health(care) communication sch

 lly in prestigious journals and recognized internationally\n\nDr Patrik Sc
 hretzimaier is an Associated University Researcher at the Institute for Me
 dical Informatics at UMIT TIROL - Private University for Health Sciences a
 nd Technology in Austria. His research centres on technology acceptance mo
 dels (UTAUT") in healthcare and the broader sociotechnical aspects of heal
 th information systems with a particular interest in how these systems can
