 atell\, MPH MSW CHES (she/they) currently works as a plain language specia
 list and medical improv trainer through Michigan Medicine\, the University
  of Michigan's health system. She is a theatre nerd with an undergraduate 
 degree in English and two Master's degrees in Social Work and Public Healt
 h. She first got involved in medical improv in 2017 and completed Katie Wa
 tson's Training-of-Trainers course in 2018. She is an enthusiastic member 
 of the Medical Improv Collaborative and recently joined the MIC Steering C
 ommittee. Brittany has supported with curriculum development and workshop 
 facilitation on various topics like breaking bad news\, providing feedback
 \, navigating linguistic and cultural barriers\, and more. She is currentl
 y building and launching programming through Michigan Medicine's Office of
  Patient Experience focused on the top 3 provider skills patients report m
 atter most to them: listening\, courtesy and respect\, and clear communica
