 is webinar is for anyone who is currently using improv to teach and/or who
  is interested in using improv to teach. \n\n&nbsp\;\n\nWe will engage in 
 improv games that help us practice teamwork skills and discuss how we migh
 t apply these games in our own teaching. We will leave time for attendees 
 to lead some games too! Come have some fun while learning a new teaching t

 S\n\nAnkit Mehta MD\, FACP\, SFHM - University of Minnesota/HealthPartners
 \n\nAnkit Mehta is an internist/hospitalist with HealthPartners and an Ass
 ociate Professor of Medicine at the University of Minnesota (UMN) Medical 
 School. Mehta has a keen interest in the intersection of arts\, humanities
 \, and medicine.\n\nHe co-created a communication and empathy course and a
 lso directs a “medical improv” course at UMN. He has chaired the resea
 rch committee for the Medical Improv Collaborative (MIC). He is a member o
 f the Editorial Review Board for the Journal of Patient Experience. He has
  been a part of the planning committee as creative arts/narrative medicine
  chair for the International Conference on Communication in Healthcare (IC
 CH) in 2021 and 2023. He is the editor-in-chief for the journal IMprint\, 
 an internal medicine department journal at HealthPartners.\n\nHe is an ill
 ustrator and passionate about the use of graphic medicine in medical educa
 tion. His graphic works have been published in various journals\, books/co
 ver designs\, LA Times and magazines.\n\nShannon Hanson\, PhD\, MPH - Wake
  Forest University School of Medicine\n\nShannon Hanson is the Director of
  NICU Psychosocial Services at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Levine Ch
 ildren’s Brenner Children’s Hospital and an Associate Professor of Ped
 iatrics at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston Salem\
 , NC.\n\nShe is committed to fostering empathy\, compassion and good commu
 nication across the continuum of physician training as a facilitator in th
 e Medicine and Patients in Society course for 1st and 2nd year medical stu
 dents\, as the Assistant Program Director for Pediatric Resident Wellness 
 and the Assistant Program Director for Neonatology Fellowship Wellness and
  Professionalism.\n\nShe has been a passionate advocate for medical improv
  in healthcare since taking Katie Watson’s Medical Improv Train-the-Trai
 ner Curriculum in 2018. She joined the Medical Improv Collaborative (MIC) 
 in 2020 and has been on the Steering Committee since 2021.\n\nShe is a Fou
 nding Officer and Member of EACH Improv in Health Professions Education SI
 G\n\nAnne Graff LaDisa\, PharmD\, BCPS - Concordia University Wisconsin\n\
 nDr. LaDisa is a Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Concordia University Wi
 sconsin School of Pharmacy and a practicing acute care clinical pharmacist
  at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee\, Wisconsin. She is also
  a sketch and improvisation performer who has been using applied improvisa
 tion to teach communication and teamwork skills to health professions stud
 ents since 2016. Dr. LaDisa conducts research on applied improvisation as 
 a pedagogy and has presented nationally on its impact in health profession
 s education. She has been a member of the Medical Improv Collaborative (MI
 C) and MIC's Research Ensemble since 2021 and is co-founder and officer of
  EACH's Improvisation in Health Professions Education Special Interest Gro
 up.\n\nSarah Shepherd PhD - University of Manchester\n\nDr. Shepherd is a 
 senior lecturer at the University of Manchester.\n\nAmy Zelenski - Univers
