We are recruiting a professionally qualified Clinical/Educational/Psychologist to join our expanding technical, commercial and educational team in Powered by the award-winning global assessment software provider Qpercom, is an assessment platform launching in April 2022. It allows candidates, actors and assessors to train and assess communication skills remotely, a unique opportunity to train remotely, in real time with real people.

Role Requirements:

  • Clinical educational psychology qualification (MSc. or Phd. in Clinical or educational psychology)
  • Registration with relevant National Psychological Society and preferably be a member of t-EACH (European Association of Communication in Healthcare, teaching group) Role Profile:
  • Part-time position, 50%, 6-month contract initially

Role Duties:

  • Psychometric research of assessment scoresheets, Global Rating Scale outcomes and written feedback. Working with actors, assessors and with healthcare candidates from different global regions
  • Provide guidance, support and supervision for clinical communication scenarios across the training and assessment team which includes actors, assessors and administrators
  • Supervise effective feedback sessions and written feedback reports for participating students and young healthcare professionals
  • Contribute to Qpercom’s technical roadmap and implement research outcomes into assessment scoresheet development and feedback improvement, e.g. automation, artificial intelligence (AI), etc

The Calgary-Cambridge guide to clinical consultations is a proven method of medical interviewing and it will be used as a base to the assessment templates. Candidates will be provided with constructive feedback after completing their stations, summarised in a personalised PDF report, including scenario objectives, scoresheet scores, global rating outcomes and written assessor comments. Actors and assessors will be guided through fair and honest educational decision-making and feedback procedures. Automated psychometric analysis (Qpercom Analyse) is available to further improve training & assessment procedures on an iterative basis.
