 pment in communication education research
DESCRIPTION:Mapping the landscape of continuing professional development in
  communication education research\n\nThis presentation will include a guid
 ed tour through a mega map drawing on the evidence from 29 systematic revi
 ews of continuing professional development.\n\nRooted in systematic review
  methodology\, evidence gap maps or mega maps are a new research tool that
  illustrate available evidence in visual maps. The maps dynamic and intera
 ctive nature facilitate stakeholder involvement and tailoring of research 
 questions of relevance to practice.\n\nWe have made a pilot mega map (avai
 lable at  https://gapmap.danishdiabetesknowledgecenter.dk/cme/) and aim t
 o:\n\n 	identify what we know and don’t know about communication educati
 on research\n 	tests the acceptability and feasibility by investigating th
 e experience of target users of the map\n\nFacilitators\nMette A. Nexoe\nM
 ette A. Nexoe\, is a senior researcher and manager of the research team at
  Department of Education at Steno Diabetes Center Copenhagen\, Denmark. Tr
 ained as a clinical psychologist and with a PhD in public health and epide
 miology her research has an interdisciplinary approach and embraces resear
 ch areas such as continuing professional development\, mental health\, occ
 upational health\, psycho-social aspects of type 1 and type 2 diabetes\, m
 ulti-morbidity and chronic illness\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nThis course is via Zoom.
