DESCRIPTION:During this webinar\, the presenter will discuss and illustrate
  how he has adapted various social media and business strategies to compli
 ment traditional scholarly methods (publication\, conference presentations
 ) to disseminate his research\, conducted over two decades\, on contextual
 ization of care. \n\nPresenter - Saul Weiner\n\nSaul Weiner is professor 
 of medicine\, pediatrics and medical education at the University of Illino
 is at Chicago\, and deputy director of the research Center of Innovation f
 or Complex Chronic Health Care at the Veterans Health Administration. His 
 research\, which focuses on contextualizing care\, employs unannounced sta
 ndardized patients\, patients who audio record their visits\, and clinical
  decision support tools enhanced with patient contextual information in th
 e electronic medical record.  His book\, Listening for What Matters: Avoi
 ding Contextual Errors in Health Care\, published by Oxford University Pre
 ss\, received the 2017 American Publishers Award for Professional &amp\; S
 cholarly Excellence in the Life Sciences from the American Association of 
 Publishers. His latest book is On Becoming a Healer: The Journey from Pati
 ent Care to Caring About Your Patients\, published by Johns Hopkins Univer
 sity Press (April 2020).  He also co-hosts the podcast\, On Becoming a He
 aler. His website is contextualizingcare.org. Dr. Weiner is also co-founde
 r of the Institute for Practice and Provider Performance Improvement\, als
 o called “I3PI\,” which applies methods for directly observing care to
  health plans and individual practices seeking to enhance value-based care
